Cranberry Stuffing Recipe

This cranberry stuffing recipe is an instant classic. I found this recipe while trying to find a way to please cranberry sauce crazy kids. My kids and (it seems) all the kids in our family love this recipe! The tart sweetness in the cranberries contrast the rich flavor of the stuffing and makes the whole dish irresistible.

We often stuff turkey breast, chicken breast and even pork chops with it! We love it and we hope you do too.

Ingredients

2 (4 ounce) cans chicken broth

2 stalks celery, chopped

1 cup dried cranberries

1 medium onion, chopped

1/4 cup green pepper, chopped

1/2 tsp seasoned salt

8 cups seasoned stuffing mix (reg or herb)

Instructions

Mix broth, celery, onion and green pepper in saucepan.

Heat to boil, cover and cook for 5 minutes on low, or until the veggies are tender.

Add cranberries to boiling broth during last 2 minutes of cooking. (Don't stir too much because we don't want the cranberries to break apart.)

Remove from heat and add stuffing.

Mix thoroughly, spoon into greased baking pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until browned on top.
