Ravioli Turkey Sausage Recipe
Ravioli turkey sausage and peppers is a perfect shoe-in for Italian night. The frozen peppers and ravioli cook slowly with the sausage and sauce for an instant family favorite.
Remember when I told you how I like to "sneak" veggies into my families meals? This is one of them. I use chopped spinach in my recipe. The leaves are smaller and the kids don't question it as much. If you have kids who love veggies feel free to use whole leaf spinach. The whole leaf spinach makes this a restaurant quality meal.
1/2 pkg.(25-oz) frozen cheese-filled ravioli
8 oz Smoked Turkey sausage, sliced
1 small bag frozen spinach
1 jar(26-oz) chunky spaghetti sauce
2 cups Frozen bell pepper and onion stir-fry
1 oz(1/4 cp) shredded fresh Parmesan cheese
Combine all ingredients except Parmesan cheese in a 3 1/2 to 4 quart crockpot; mix well.
Cover; cook on low setting for 5-6 hours.
Sprinkle individual servings with cheese and serve.
